Hooking up 2 amps, how should I splice remote power wire?

I did a search, didn't come up with anything.

I am hooking up two amplifires for the first time, and I thought I remembered reading a long time ago that you should be able to splice up to 3-4 different amp's remote power wires together.

My question, is what is the propper way to do it? Run just run a wire parallel from one amp's remote to the 2nd amp's? Splice it from the deck, and run two remote wires through the car? Splice the remote power wire into two, anywhere that is convenient?

All or none of the above?

Thanks to anyone for any help they can offer.
