hooking my brother up..i think

so i guess that would make the design basically 14" wide by 14" tall by 12" deep...should be 1.2 NET after displacement...could someone do a cutsheet of that for me....its finals week my brain is fried

According to WinISD, 2 cubes sealed for a 12" XXX will yield a Qtc somewhere around .600, not a great idea imo. I ran one of my XXX 15's in 2 cubes sealed, per RE's recommendations, and I felt it wanted abit bigger box. It needed more power though.

Sealed should be fairly easy to decide what you want. Plug the t/s specs into a program and figure out what alignment you want (alot of info on sealed alignment properties, use the search).

Hope this helps.

i did what you said in WiniSD....told me 1.99 cubes so i asked here for a 2 cubes sealed plan....then someone said check out RE.....RE says sealed is 1.1 optimum then someone here said 1.5....so i have no idea what to try

I just plugged an 04 XXX (same thing) into my WinISD and it recommended .939 cubes which it says is a Qtc of .732 which is much closer to what most people consider reasonable (.707 being considered average).

Maybe our copies of winisd have diff spes for the xxx. I dont remember where I got mine now, but they seem to follow RE's old recommendations fairly well. One thing about it, if you make it too big, you can always add blocks internally to make it smaller later if you want. Making it bigger later is however much more difficult.

Im not really making your decision any easier am I? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

yeah 1100 watts is all he can afford to run right now cash wise as well as electrical wise...is running 1100 watts really going to effect sound that much? be it its 900 watts under RMS?

cut sheet...does this make sense guys

4x 15" x 15"

2x 13.5" x 13.5"

externally that should be just around 1.9 cubes...after displacement internal should be 1.5 cubes

haha im not buying anything....just pointing the right direction....but i think hes got dreams of double din navy....nothing like being in HS and not having to pay for anything but the things you want.

No fucking shit right?

Go**** I miss that. Nowadays I could buy a sick system every month for what my expenses are costing me.

i know...like he just wakes up...sits in HS (easy as shit) gets done at 230 and work till like 7....makes a few hundred a week and within a few months i get the phone call saying he wants to put a system in his car....ive had a balance of

p.s....how do those cutouts look?

i wanna stick with sealed to start....have a feeling he is going to like it better and it saves him his trunk for all his hockey sticks and hockey bags and bodyboards this summer and what not
