hooking a amp up to 6x9's?

Ok this sounds like I shud know but I'm just double checking with everyone out there....so I'm upgradeing my 6x9s and an amp up ....so can I jumper rcss from my sub amp to the 6x9s amp and still get good sound coming from them or do I need to run all new rca's from my h.u. ??? As long as the input and outputs on your subwoofer amp is good then you should have no problem jumping them off of your other amp

does highs amp have an output?

reason being some (not all) sub amps outputs only provide signal that has been x-overed @ what ever you have sub amp set @ typicaly highs (a/b amps) will out put full range signal

all that being said I would still run new rca's to h/u

That's kind of what I was thinking and what happend to me when I tryed is they is it got x overed

Because rcas can be had for cheap, why not just run the second pair? better choice in the long run IMO.

Just run a second pair cus the amps crossovers will mess with each other back and fourth.
