hook up blown speakers

this kid jsut asked me if i wanted to see who was louder. and i dont mind ijust wanna mess with him at first. i have 2 blown 12" 04 L7's would it hurt my amp to hook them up and beat on them for a few minutes. or would it be alright.

after which im gonna throw in my 2 12" 06 l7's strapped down to 1 ohm and wang all over his parade.

you can hook them up, but they won't do jack shit. no it won't hurt the amp.

fixed. if one coil still works, then yes, it'll play, but no telling how much longer it'll last. also, the other coil may make a rather unpleasant noise. and it won't take as much power with only one vc working

If the others are blown, why go through the trouble of hooking them up at all? If you have two working 12 L7s, I say use them and then take pics of his mouth drop

its not a problem hooking them up i got them in 2 seperate boxes already both wired up. and i guess maybe only 1 vc on each is blown cuz when you hook them up the move like theres negative feedback and theres buzzing comming from the motor thats why i was iffy. but when i press on the cone theres so much tension.

how much does kicker charge to get them repaired?
