For 10k less you get a car that has a little less performance off the line, but better performances in turns and slaloms. There's been tests where they pit the WRX and the MS3 (i know its not STI, but its more comparable that way). The only thing the WRX beat the MS3 was in the launch. MS3 is a much better looking car than the WRX.

And for 35k...

I was speaking of the STI Sedan (pre 2008), I'm not a big hatchback fan so the appearance of the two hatchbacks is a toss up for me. And used Sti's can be had for around 20k+, But I agree between the two I would rather have an evo. Couple months back when I was in the market for a car I was debating a couple cars, one being the STI and another being a '04 Cobra, my insurer wouldn't even insure me on those cars until I was 30! the WRX is the highest car to insure, pretty crazy but that was one of the factors for me not getting it. The camaro at the time was 12k above sticker and far and few, so I went with the Pontiac G8....So far it's been a good decision.

need a car i can get for less than 15k used with relatively low miles on it that gets 25 or more mpg and looks good and preferably goes fast.
