Honda = Poo

those have the same interiors as the 88-94 silverado's and tahoe's right?? Everytime i've installed a deck in those trucks you can take the "deck area" out w/some screws in the glove box.............
I took off all that stuff so I could run the RCA cables without them being in plain view. Also, I'm just saying that it was annoying the first time doing it. I had to do it a couple times, so I can probably take the dash off and everything in under 10 minutes.

actually to me, the later model GM cars are very strait forward and simple. HUs are a breeze in 99+ Silverado, Sierra, Yukon, Tahoe, Equinox, Trail Blazer. Also the new ford tauruses are a pain, Havent done one yet, but I was told by my rep at Metra that there is no wiring harnesses and that a chit load of resistors would need to be used. He might be blowing a load of smoke up my you no what, but Ill have to wait for when a Tore-*** comes into the shop and see for myself.

Maybe the threadstarter needs to use the right tools? Used my 95 4 door to carry some lumber this weekend to make a work bench. Took the seats out in less than 10 minutes. DHL is delivering me some Kicker 1/0 today and ill run it maybe this week or Friday. The length from the battery post to my firewall is only 15" long.

Did a '06 Accord last weekend and panels popped out very easy. Dont need to take out the seatbelt bracket on any car because you can slide it straight through.

I think the hardest install I've done was the H/U in my 93 accord...took a really long time just to remove the stock pos H/U...I did a HU in a 99 subaru wagon last weekend and was expecting the same "built with tiny japanese hands" bullshit but it wasn't that bad.... Easiest install would have been a h/u in a 99 hyundai but some fvckazz cut the stock wiring harness so i'd say the easiest was a 99 jeep grand cherokee.

the only thing time consuming about the 4th gen accords is the two bolts underneath and to the rear of the stock HU. Although with the right tools...its a walk in the park.
