does anyone know what wire is which my dumbas friend cut off factory harness and i need to know so i can hook up his alpine cd player

No I don't, but could you rewire the original harness back in place? Then get the adapter? Or did he cut it to close to the original harness.

the best thing to do is to rewire the stock harness as before. or you could hook up the alpine harness directly to the wires, see http://www.installdr.com to know which on is which.
