Home Sub in a car help?

I was wondering if it is possible to connect a home Sony 8inch Subwoofer with a 100watt amp built in to my car audio system. My head unit came with a front and rear pre-amp output. if i connect my Home Sub to the power supply via a cigerat outlet, will i be able to connect the Sub to one of the Pre-amp outputs.

If not is there anyway to add my Home Sub to my system?

Since the Sub has a Build in amp it should get a small kick, nothing fancy, but just for the small extra base?
