home stereo help????

i have a sound system in my room since i was 10. and im pretty happy with it. its made by sharp and has two tower of speakers. a mid a tweeter and a side firing passive radiator each tower is 120 watts. its really loud and descent bass but i dont want sony cause theres say like 500 watts which i think isent true. so i want some ideas. i want it under 300 bucks. i found a newer sharp system for 240 with two speakers and a sub and u plug ur ipod in on top and it charges it. so any ideas please..

Say what dude? are you upgrading a home stereo or are you looking for a bedroom book shelf set?

I personally dont like complete all in one sets.

I would go to a pawn shop or search tru craigslist for vintage equipment. All you really need is a reciever with auxillary inputs. Id go with old pioneer or marantz. and JBL control monitors from the 70's. They sound better and are more efficient.

im lookin for a bedroom set. it has two boxes and a main unit with a 5 disk changer like mine. but i found one that has three boxes and a main unit cause it also come with a sub. so im basically asking if anyone has a different brand to look at instead of sharp.

im tryin to upgrade from the system i have and i want a little more bass. and this new one is all black and i plug my ipod on the top and it plays music from the ipod and it charges it

ok i founnd out wats its called. im looking for a mini component system. and shoot im still learning how to type. practice is perfect im still 17 years young i have a lot of time to learn so basically try to stay positive like me and stop tryin to bomb on me.
