Home network help!!!!!

I have set up a home network at my house and I cant seem to get it to work right. I ran the network wizards and everthing but somethings not right. On #1 of the two comps on my network I can view and access the shared folders on computer #2 but from computer #2 when I try to access them I get a message that says I do not have enough access privilages and tells me to contact my administrator. I am my system administrator and I don't know what to do does anyone here have experience with networks? If so help would be greatly apreciated.

I have checked every where that I know of and set it to allow access I don't know what Im doing wrong

right click each drive you want to share, and go to "sharing and security" check settings there, if you haven't already.

yeah I have that set up to share and it shows up under my network places as a shared drive but I cant access it from comp #2

what OS are you using? home or xp pro i assume?

you should be able to go into sharing and security and give permisions out

just click permissions, then allow everyone full control
