i would sell and buy a pair of tc3k 10's and run them on the ax.
then you could go ported and IMO be louder than the 12's sealed

I take great care of all my gear! The thing is, is that dont really have the space for a proper ported enclosure. Plus, I love the low stuff, Ive had better luck with sealed for that. I do have several ported boxes in hand, but they're about 4cuft @ 32hz, but again thats just too big.

if your lookin for low and don't care to be tooo loud i'd run the maxs IB. you'd have all ur trunk still use the zapco amp

I really do want to try IB but I really only have enough time to do simple sub/box/amp swaps. I have been plotting an IB install though

Only reason I bought them was because JBL took them off their website. Plus I always wanted to see what they were all about.

A local had a pair of those (w15GTi Mk.II) ported in a Tahoe off of a Memphis 4kw. I want to say 8.0 net tuned to 32. It did a 151.xx on a well calibrated AC mic with music. It sounded very nice as well.

I bought one of them off another local who bought it off him. I just sold it to Killa Camry on here. I tested it out off of the 250-300ish watts my Kicker KX400.1 would give it at 3 ohm in my 2 cube sealed enclosure. It was close in terms of output compared to my 187, but sounded much better and had more authority on the lowest end. They are quite efficient. I'd say for daily between 1200 and 1500 per would be perfect. They really wouldn't need it though, especially if you are porting them.
