yeah i give hd a thumbs down too. i went there and got 2 sheets, one was fine, the other was bowed. i told the guy that i needed it cut and that i had a cut sheet. he didnt even bother to look at it and said..u get 4 cuts and only 4. so im like..wtf...and i told him to give me a minute so i can figure out what sizes i should get the 4 cuts in. then that *** disappears for like 30 minutes...when he knew i needed cuts. i had to ask several hd employees to find him and even then he took 30 minutes to come back.

Home depot is great!Umm maybe it's because I work there and honestly I've never had a problem with the mdf there I guess it depends on what location you go to.Those panel saws do **** because the tape measure attached to it is not accurate so I measure it with my own and cut it myself and the cuts are right on.So really don't knock home depot it comes down to which one you go to and which associate helps you.Hopefully you don't get a dip $hit to help ya.

I was waiting to see if you were going to chime in on this one... Mike had 2 sheets sitting in his garage, one HD, and one Lowes. The lowes stuff looked WAYYY better as far as density, and overall appeal.

the wood got bowed from the humidity plain and simple there is nothing wrong with it. simply laying it flat for a couple of days will straighten it out. you should hear the cussin in a corrugated plant ( aka cardboard) the day after a heavy rain. cardboard curls like crazy lol

They just built a Home Depot 3 minutes away from. I love it. I've gotten a peice or two that's had the corners chewed up, but I'll take that anyday over driving 30 miles to Lowes. Heck, It'd cost me $6-7 in gas.
