I applied for Homodepot, didn't get a job.

My wife quit there just before Christmas of last year and she started on a low pay scale and ended up leaving close to 14/hr. You gotta start high....like 12-14 then you may see yourself getting nice increases during your employment there. I've heard stories from her tho....about the company firing people for stupid reasons, people making more $$ than her yet she's been there 8 yrs. Ripping people off, etc etc. I bet if you walked in and a pallet of dry concrete fell on ya from above, you can sue them. They seem to pay out pretty dam good.

i started out at $8 a hour and yes they hire/fire people all the time.. its cheaper for them to hire temps for 90days, which i guess i was and get rid of them

Not sue about HD, but when I worked for eagle/lowes installing appliances in peoples homes I didn't make shit for what I did.

HD probably pays better.

I made $9/hr 3rd shift frieght. They fire 3 people that day for BS reason....

I work @ a dentist office and Home Depot has good dental insurance =) remember to brush and floss every night =D

Thats what i heard. They work you hard for not great pay.

applied there as well, they never called me. I feel I would be over quailfyed for the job as well. Oh well, there loss I say lol!
