Home Audio Receiver Needed

I need a Home Audio Receiver, about 500 or 600 watt. I really don't want to spend more than $100 so if anyone has an old one they don't need or one they want to sell just let me know. Thanks.

i've been looking to sell my kenwood vr707 for awhile..or i may just buy a power amp. i'd sell it for 130+shipping. only 1 yr old, 200 new. it works just fine i just need to power my speakers (giving 'em the receiver power, they want 60+ more (hivi d6g))

You won't find a receiver that does a real 600 watts. For that kind of power, you're looking at pro audio gear...

Not like you need anywhere near that kind of power to begin with...

600wpc is an assload of power. Even with inefficient speakers, that's a lot of power to throw at the front stage.

Get a pair of 90-92dB/W speakers, and you could get away with much smaller amplifiers and still reach the same ear-bleeding SPL levels. Power isn't everything.

Do I say I have a "200" watt amplifier if it's only 100wpc? That sounds like something Boss or Crunch would do.

i have a sony 7.1 110 "110" watts per chanel i u want it
