They are pretty tough animals. My buddy and I used to go trapping out in the country in the winter time and have caught quite a few of them. So my buddy decides to let one loose and it came after him. It took quite a few hits with an aluminum bat before the thing died. We have also caught racoons, wild cats, skunks and...badgers:crap:

I caught a possum in a rabbit trap once. Turned the trap upright and sprayed hair spray onto is and lit it on fire. **** bastard was still alive. Kept hitting it with the hair spray flames which were turning a turquoise color, the possum would try to crawl up out of the box and I'd beat it back down with a baseball bat. Finally, I took a nice whack and put it out of it's misery. Those things are mean as hell though, I've had them hiss at me when I go outside at night and they are trying to find a meal in the garbage can. Needless to say, the one in the rabbit trap was making some very scarry sounds that night.

My air rifle is supposed to be able to reach 860 fps or something with two pumps. I Loaded 3 bb's in the chamber each time and pumped it 20 times, so I should have done SOME kind of damage.
Yah, pellets FTW though, they are just a pita to load.

nah, just **** the gun once and place the pellet in the barrel barrel before you lock it back into place. super easy. i had my gf's dads gamo 890 for a few weeks. 1000 fps, with a scope on it. lets just say i will be getting one like it. except i am going for the one that shoots at 1600 fps at like 30 yards.
