All you people saying he is a POS dont know him. I personally knew him and he was one of the most respected wrestlers and loving husband and a great father. I ment his son Daniel when he was just a baby when I did back stage security for the beeghley center in Youngstown and the guy was one of the nicest guys you could meet. Would sign autographs, talk with up and comers, helped trained people and even helped with charities, not one, but many. I am truely shocked as I am sure everyone from his family to his wrestling family is just in awe over this. Would never in a millon years think the likes of a Chris Beniot would do something like this. Never seemed stressed out, but home life is different and Woman(Nancy his wife) was a caring person as well. Life just threw a major curveball and I have to say for one it sucks! If he did it, then I am glad he had enough dignity to take his own life. This shit is terrible and I still am having a hard time believing he did it. Why spread it out in a weekend? Dont make sense, but who knows what he was on. Never thought of him to do certain drugs, but in his bussiness, they are all over the place, more so than other sports being they are always hurt and have to go out night after night injured because that is how they make a living.
Shit hurts for me as I knew they guy and I hope for one it isnt true and something else comes into play. Sad day indeed!
