Well, on my way to a competition today, I could tell it was gonna be a bad day. I was ticked that I had to rewire my sub to a higher ohm load to keep from popping fuses, so I didn't enter. But lo-and-behold, every cloud does have a silver lining (albeit a slightly expensive one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ). I lucked up on an amp that a fellow competitor had 6 of. I bought me an American Bass VFL 150.1 today!. It only had 4 burps on it (they were at 1 ohm). It's not in the best cosmetic shape (but it is very good, some minor scratches), but it works flawlessly. They were only getting rid of them so they could run more amps and stay in the same class as the AB amps were rerated.
Sorry for the long post, but I'm so d*** happy. Can't wait til I get off of work tomorrow to play with it some more!
