i think giving mods power to ban is a bad idea. that would cause such a shit fest and uprising once someone got axed would have a reall live E-war.

I dont. What most people here do not understand is that it IS a gift to be able to post on here. Each mod is an extention of Goob. When he is not here and or able to take care of things, they are here daily to see the daily things. If it takes few days to get the admind attention to ban a member like bassmaster, you piss off a ton of people when they shut down the board and or make 5 pages of meaningless threads.

Lastly, if a "shit storm" or "E-war" started, it because people are childish and honestly IMO should not be allowed the privilage to post on this board.

Every opinion counts. I definatly agree with this one. SSA has an Ebay deal thread. You could make one and ask one of the mods to sticky it for you. Each member would need to state what it is and the time the sale ends (if possible).

i don't think the mods are mature enough imo. what i think should happen is have a warning system. the mods will warn the member then say after 3 warnings you are banned permanately. it'll force the mods to be a little more rational.

But then a mod can warn the member lets say 3 times in a row if the mod would want to ban that member, same thing as banning.

he would have to be warned by 3 different mods, then suspend his account and then the admin will be notified and he if he feels the mods warnings were justified, then the member will be banned
