My list...

1)Classifieds (limt starting F/S threads to members with 20-100 posts.)

2)give mods temp banning abilities (one day ban for members that clearly break the rules. Only if all mods are in agreance can someone get a temp ban)(Bassmaster would be an example that comes tim mind.)

3)(Not really my place) No more adding mods that were not voted in by the members. I like Mike (Goddy), but he didnt get voted in. We could have had a quick mini vote for the extra mod.

4)BRING SPELL CHECK BACK!!!!

6)Put the 10 char limit back to eliminate spam posts. (OMG!, BBQ, LOL, +1, ect..)

7)An installer section for people to show off their work. (I am guessing that is what the members blog section is for, maybe rename it)

8)Actual dealer sections, where dealers can come and discuss their products with the forum.

9)Mandatory search in help sections. (member tried to make a thread in one of the help sections, make it mandatory to search on the topic. If the member doesnt find what they are looking for the bottom should have a create thread button.)

I have more, but cant think of them right off the top of my head.

This is already one of the better forums I've seen. Some constructive mentions:

An RSS feed of recent posts.

Thread view count doesn't work (for me, at least)

Signature picture size limit.

Full view inserted picture size limit (thumbnail links to huge pic's ok).

i think a section devoted to maybe head to head testing of equipment or like an experiment section. you can add like that big 3 thread where a couple members did some testing on the big 3. also post results of amp testing instead of having the orion 2500D vs. IA 20.1 thread. i think another section should be dedicated to work logs and a member who creates a thread types in the year make and model of the car in the title and explains what they did with pics and then someone can search and type in there car make, model, etc. also mods should have less control in the lounge. it seems more shit happens in the lounge because mods delete posts and what not and causes shit fests against them.

have you been reading my mind? somehow i feel this tool could be used against me though.

anyway a karma system would be cool if for nothing else.

and when i want to reply to pm's i can only forward them so i have to enter in the name if that was fixed it'd be great.

new mod vote, most the mods are doing an awesome job but i can think of one i dont think is.

i would think of more but im hung over....

oh, i think stickying more threads or faq's would be a good thing but im not sure who has the power already on that one

i think giving mods power to ban is a bad idea. that would cause such a shit fest and uprising once someone got axed would have a reall live E-war.
