HO Alternator, any good?

i cant seem to find any info on Metra alts other than they make a HO unit for my car but i had to fax them to get pricing/specs. i have no idea as to their quality, retail price (i get a deal through work), or anyone who has used or sells them. tried search and google, no luck.... so what do you guys think of Metra alternators?

the alts are from a company that lets metra put labels on there alts just to get there name out

mean geen makes a bad alt i cant remember there web page also ohio generator makes some good ones
