who did you get that quote from.

i was quoted like 350 for a 180 amp for a 2001 sentra from Excessive Amperage.

maybe your car is so different that it is just uber expensive.

either way that sucks.

I have shopped around, most other places want my Alt so they can rewind it. I dont want to give it up as I may need it if my new one fails.

i think when i got aquote fomr them they quoted me the exact same thing, i juts know it was over $600 and i emailed them back "LMAO, no thanks!"

Same with Tsunami who quoted me at accomodation $750 and they recieved a similar response.

i found one rewound 150A for $205 shipped
