HO alt Problem.

Alright, I recently got a EA 200 amp alt and I installed it yesterday. The car started right up, and seemed alright. When I went to drive it though, all the problems came.

First, the ABS light came on. It's never been on before, and I don't think the ABS was working.

Second I turned on the heat and it was on for 5-10 seconds when I heard a "bzzzzzz", and it lit up brighter and shut off, then restarted. The dash lit up brighter too, as if it got a surge of power. I turned around after going not even a quarter mile and parked it at home, afraid of burning something out in my car.

I then went inside for 30 mins or so, and came back out to the car and the car wouldn't crank...the battery was completely dead. This is the weird part to, because the battery just sat on the concrete in my garage for 3 weeks without use, and when I put it in my car yesterday it started right up. There were no lights on or anything in the car.

I just went out and tightened the terminals more, and checked everything...and it all looks alright. I still need to charge/jump the battery though.

I'm looking for any idea's or help. Thanks guys

Tightened the terminals as much as I could, and checked all the wiring. Then jumped the car, and everything seems to be working fine. So one of the terminals must have been a little loose or something.

Now I build box, finally! Thanks guys
