i live in hartford durring the schoolyear right near there and all of the hartford residents are MAD stupid when it comes to crossing the street. the drivers are also always runnign red lights so the pedestrian crosswalka reas and signs dont help much eather. i myself have almost been hit 4 or 5 times by fast moving cars glad it wasnt me on that video tape. but someone should of at least called 911 or something or tryed t get traffic to stop i dunno something

I saw on the news this morning when they interviewed the people who live in the area where this dude got rolled at. They say because of the high crime rate that they dont want to be involved in any other persons issues. that man wasn't ignored. yes people drove by, but the majority of the people were still standing around which were probably on cell phones calling for help.they did the right thing to not move him as they could have caused more damage. he was moving so he wasn't dead(head movement).

another thing is if he was ignored. cops would have nevershown up. which they did just 1 minute later.

That's bullshit ...
First of all, he's lying in the middle of the fvcking street and NOBODY is out there to prevent traffic from hitting him again.

Secondly, nobody went over there to see if he was still breathing, ask him what symptoms he was experiencing, etc. to give a more complete observation to 9-1-1 operators.

Thirdly, a lot of the people kept walking or driving by, which means they wouldn't have been able to give a statement about the accident/crime.

Fourthly, if you think this is appropriate behaviour, I hope you die.
