Hmm....help a nub

Im going to be running a kenwood KAC-9104d with a dayton RSS265HF-4. The amp is rated for 500 watts at 4ohms and 900 watts at 2 ohms.

Right now im only going to be running one sub, but will be upgrading to a second dayton in the future. Will 4 gauge be able to run both of these? How much room does 4awg leave for expansion in the future? Enough to power a 4 channel for rest of speakers?

If someone can either tell me, or point me in the direction of finding out myself id be gracious.

Edit: Forgot to ask what is the proper way to connect your amp power cable to the battery? Does it matter of i put it on the battery post, the clamp the car has to the post, what? Thanks again

check that sight horsemanwill gave ya. and as far as the connecting it to the battery, I just have a ring terminal on mine and have it in the bolt on my battery terminal.
