In my reg. cab truck i inverted a sub between the seats to save airspace and left the other alone. What i noticed is when i wire the inverted sub backwards, it sounds fine, but when i wire like im supposed to it sounds shitty. Does anyone know why? Thanks

you have to reverse the polarity( positive and negative) when you invert a sub.(put the positive wire into neg port, then negative wire into positive port).. it sounds like poo if you invert THEN wire like you normally would

all depends on install man. But if your goin for some all out SPL hell(like me lolz) use ported. Sealed boxes will give the better SQ.... there really isnt a difference in inverting/regular subs except airspace i believe. but if your using a sealed box, upgrading to ported will give you a noticible dB increase. and also, dont forget your dynamat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
