ok. well good luck running it...its a strong amp. i dont believe its as bad current wise as people say..kinda snowballed. any 4000watt amp is gonna draw current. just needs a lil juice

just watch the gain with the stock alt. and see how bad your voltage drops..

yeah thats what i was planning on doing, probably turn it up just a tiny bit just to get a little bass...untill i can afford the 250 alt i want

Im basically in the same boat. I have 2 12" hd3's... and i have a 802sx ma audio amp... which is comparable to your amp.. right now i have it wired @ 4 ohms.. but it just isnt enough. I have a battery in the front and the trunk... in a week or so, i will be going to change the ohm load to 1.... then ill see if voltage is that bad... if it is,, then im going to order a alt then..

and just so i dont have to make another thread about it and take up useful space haha, which would be better the hc2400 ($250) or the Intimidator 9A31($180)

deka is now 200 and i think it slots right in between the 2000 and 2400..kinda like a 2200 lol
