After work I plan on picking up some more fuses. I bought all they had at radio shack (6), but now I need more. Going to swing by Ace and Depot if need be.
First I'm going to unplug the subwoofer speaker cable (and RCA) and see if it turns on & doesn't blow a fuse, etc.
Then if it still blows I'd assume it's the amp. I'll then swap out the amp and plug in the new one without the sub to see if it works. Then if that works, I'll try connecting the sub RCA and speaker cable. Hopefully that should work! If not, then I may have either blow both the amp and sub or have a wiring issue.
However, the other amp powers on fine I checked the power cable for the sub at the distribution block and it was sound (and of course I checked the grounds).
On a side note I ordered 12ft of 0 gauge to do the Big 3 after years of delay. Will attempt this next weekend as this weekend is homecoming for us University of Illinois alumni.
