what type of speakers are good for putting out high/mids.. no bass what so ever(i have subs for that)... list some good brands in general or models if u know them

uhh well imo, you need midbass because it can blend it better with your subs. me personally i dont want a two sided car where its straight up midrange/highs and then bass. i want everything to blend in together nicely because imo it sounds better. i want bass to blend in with the midbass and the midrange to blend in with the highs.

about 500 for speakers and amp... if i dont have enough for 4 speakers ill only worry about my front ones... i like to listen to rap/hip-hop

need a 4 channle amp.. i may be able to get more then 500 bucks too.. lets say 700 max

alright so ima say about $300 for components and $200 for a nice amp maybe even less for an amp. A couple of sets i like and heard DLS UP6 and Rainbow SLCs. Good solid sets. Very detailed and pretty smooth. Don't need much to get them singing.

can be bought at: http://www.speedsound.com/product.asp?specific=jncojqrrk. But if you harp around the classifieds these go for aroung $150 a set usually. pretty hard to find now at that price though. i got my set for $170.

i can vouch for the SLC's awesome set threer espically for the price at some places, cant remember the site if i find ill post it up, but theres allwasy some nice set floating around in the classifieds. Keep an an eye in there and your bound to find a great set at a great price
