i have a question that i have been thinking about for awhile and wondered if it would work. in my car, i have 2 6-1/2's up front, and 2 subs in back. i dont have any mids becauz my car didnt have any stock, just the 2 on the doors, so theres no place to put any. i mostly listen to rap, and i cant always hear the words or the highs over the bass. on my hu i have all the treble and the bass all the way up becuz otherwise its not that loud. i like the way the bass is and sounds but i want the highs to be louder. i dont have an amp for the highs because i think it would be pointless with 2 little speakers. on my amp i only have the gain control turned up about halfway, so if i were to turn it up all the way i would probably hear only bass, no highs. but i was wondering if i could take the connections for the rear speakers that are not hooked up to anything and hook them up to the front speakers. ive never tried this but i would think it would double the power to the front speakers meaning i would be able to hear them better. i know some of u might say to turn down the bass to hear the highs better but i only have 2 12" infinity reference svc subs that handle 300w rms each and my amp can only send 250w rms to each of them and its only turned up halfway, so therefore im only giving each sub 125 watts if not a little more. so i have no more than 300 watts of bass playing most of the time and that aint that much so i dont have a lot of bass. oh and my car is a hatchback if that has anything to do with it. if anyone can answer my question post a reply.
thanks in advance
