higher fuse rating ?

I have a viper 1200 with a 60A fuse at the battery. I'm wondering if it's better to get a Inline ANL Fuse holder with a 150 A fuse???? My Current fuse has gone out twice in the 6 months I owned my amp.

Yes it is better, go with something no more than the current carrying capability of your power/ground wire but something close to the internal fusing on the amp.

A bigger fuse ain't gonna hurt nuthin, ive got a 300 on 0 Guage with 2 12" iNFINTY perfects.......no problems.

The amp has its rated fuse size 30a X3. The powe wire is 4gauge
