high voltage systems

You can use 2 alts like n2audio describes or you can simply use a 16v charger. Standard 300amp 12v wheel chargers will do as well, but strain like mad if you have a large battery rack.

Most people I know just series 2 8volt batteries together, and the batteries typically float when fully charged at ~17.5v or so. Keep in mind that the 16v battery bank will need to be grounded to the frame and share a ground with the external HU which should be running at 12v.

Also the REM+ should be 12v as well.

does the 12v and the 16v gounds and sharing them on the same frame going to disrupt anything?

Nope.

The battery rack should be grounded to the vehicle and thus should share a ground with the HU which is running on 12 volts. This allows the amps to turn on with only 12v at their remote turn ons...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif So actually it is kina required. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
