High sound quility speakers with good bass

If you want bass from a speaker your looking into the wrong thing. Bass is supposed to come from a subwoofer depending on what frequencies you actually want to play.

I'm not looking for heavy bass from my speaker. The problem is my BAs are putting out no bass. It would be nice if I could get them to put out about a fourth or a half of what my dad's stock speakers from his 98' accord, but they don't even do that. I just want my speakers to produce some lows

x2, normal 6.5" door speakers aren't going to do much of anything below 80hz. There's just not enough cone area to displace the amount of air needed to get loud at the lower frequencies.

are just a couple of companies that make a great 6.5 mids that will play very well down to 60hz.

Boston acoustics mids don't have much midbass,yes midbass.

I've owned BA pro's which can sound good, but not great.

My buddy has the BA sr & I don't want to tell him that they sound ok.

Aftermarket speakers aren't designed to emit low bass frequencies. Not sure if you are running a component set or not, so I am assuming that you are. The crossovers that came with the BA speakers eliminate that low frequencies. Its specifically designed for that tweeter and mid for best performance and sound quality. You are beating a dead horse trying to find new speakers to replace your BA set to achieve that bass you desire. Get a small sub.

Your stock speakers receive a full range of frequencies. Sure, they emit great bass, but sound like poo and dont get that loud. Get a small sub.
