lolz no.. i didnt grow up here.. in tacoma, washington.
Hilltop was notorious in the late 1980's and early 1990's for drug-related gang activity, most notably related to the infamous West Coast Crips. The word "Hilltop" became synonymous specifically with Tacoma's gang problems, and more generally with urban pathologies associated with the US's crack cocaine epidemic.

Yeah the West Coast 206 crips and West Coast 253 crips are everywhere. Once I saw a group of em in pioneer square(Downtown Seattle) beating up and stabbing three homeless people. South Seattle's even worse.

i dont think tacoma is near as bad as it used to be, it used to be fukked up when i was growing up and lived there. I remember so many crimes, like when a couple white kids got chained to a fence on the hill and beat, one to death iirc. The roaming bands of 10-14 year olds who put all those people in the hospital and beat Eric Toews (who i knew) to death, that asian gang shooting in the karaoke bar where 5 people got killed with fully auto weapons, and i remember 3-4 young girls getting killed and dumped in parks while growing up and this dad, like 4 blocks from my house freaked out and killed his kids with a hatchet and tried to kill his wife. I remember when you would hear gun shots almost every night on the hill.. but rarely hear sirens. Oh and when the chief of police who beat his wife and then ended up shooting her and then himself. the apartment manager who robbed/killed tenants and tried to cut them up with a chain saw and decompose them with lye in his apartment. and of course ted bundy is from tacoma and the beltway snipers lived in tacoma and stole the gun they used in tacoma. thats just off the top of my head.. . Its not a big city but it used to be pretty ghetto.

We had a serious fight broke out in a cul-de-sac thats across the street from the school. It was during this huge racism thing (whites against mexicans), 7 white guy's pulled up in 2 trucks while this mexican guy was walking home thro the cul-de-sac and jumped him, they started beating his *** than he pulled out a small blade (about 6-7" including handle) and tried to defend himself. One of the kids that jumped him ended up grabbing the knife and cut half the guy's (mexican) ear off. Than the neighbors that lived in the cul-de-sac came out and all the white kids jumped in their trucks and drove away. It was werid cuse it happened right after school, so there was at least 50-60 students walking thro the same cul-de-sac that just sat there and watched. Than only 1 of the guy's got cought. Some really f**cked up s**t. There was a Blacks vs whites thing a few years back too, nothing major just 1 group will jump 1 guy in the other group, than vis versa all the way thro the school year. And the school was one of the better located schools in this district (rich house/people, etc.)

I dont get gangs. Why would you need to join something that will get you killed to feel safer or more self confiednt and run around commiting crimes and killing each other simply because they wear another color than you and come from a different hood. It was the thing to do in the80' and 90's and some people are born into it...but seriously...it's 2006 and they still exist.

'tis why events like Rawanda happen. Thankfully most gang members arent as hard as they try to act and wouldnt go on a full out slaughter.

YEAH NO KIDDING, My best friend got 1 1/2 weeks Out of school suspension for mooning a school bus when we were in high school. You only got 3 days In School Suspension for beating someone up though (+ a $1,000 disrupting public school while in session fine)

Immediate expulsion probably isnt allowed by the school board, he will probably be expelled after he is found guilty in court...then agian it is miami.
When my brother was in HS a girl brought a gun to school to shoot her ex boyfriend, got scared, went the throw the gun in the dumpster and when she pulled it out of her pants she shot herself in the stomach. Tons of parents came to take their kids out of school...as if it was going to happen agian.
