That's a shame...RMAF seems to have a good reputation for bringing good stuff, sad that CES wouldn't.

That's a shame...RMAF seems to have a good reputation for bringing good stuff, sad that CES wouldn't.

Thiel and Dali were pretty much the only two brands that I felt were worth anything... B&W didn't bring shit for speakers, guess they figure they don't have to.

I guess Vincent was ok...

There were a couple of 'single' speaker brands there... I am going to have to give them a big Meh...

The only company I didn't make it to was KEF, so I can't really comment on theirs.

To me 99.5% of all dressed cosmetically enhanced audio that costs more money than a car is garbage, hyped and built for people that have massive cashflow and little brainpower that are easy to influence. Hell I can mold a peice of dog crap into exotic art, gold plate it, house it in exotic wood and starfire glass and some dip shit would buy it for $30K. Just blows me away how stupid people are and how easy they are to influence by eye candy. Like a crow to tin foil. I am cool with spending money on a quality item even if it is in the thousands, but for those fuktards that lay down $15K on a 1w tube amp, well they should just be shot or made to give there cash to charity as they obviously are to stupid to have the money they are giving away in the first place. And I hate sales people that spend 20 minutes telling me why it sounds better without letting me hear an item. I laugh at the @sshats that buy the crap. Guess we all need a hobby to spend money on *LOL*

Sorry for the rant, but 2 months ago I stopped over at a small shop in ohio while I was out on business, very expensive shop with a lot of exotic brands which is why I have been on a rampage ever since, well that and the episode when that *** that goes by "blue" on here was trying to sell silver tweeter wire for $75 a foot for car audio. Only reason I went in this shop is because I saw a sign for sonus faber speakers in the window and I always wanted to hear them as they are similar hardware wise to the ZD5's I plan to build. Not that they would sound the same or that it would tell me how the zd5's would sound.. was just curious. Within 5 minutes of my short audtition I overhear the sales guy telling some customer about how these little carbon fiber spikes when placed under his SOLID STATE AMP would work wonders for the sound, bring out the natural aura of the music that is being masked by the harmonics of the electronic components and these little pieces of crap in a nice exotic hardwood box would fix it.. I keep listening, and the BS coming out of this guy was amazing. The customer asked how much... $180.00 for 3 "what looked to be composite plastic, not carbon fiber" triangles with rubber pads on one side. The idiot started to pay, so I asked the sales guy in the middle of the sale for an audition of the wonder spikes because I really want to hear this difference and if he could place them under a nice mcintosh amp in the showroom. I got the look of death and the stupid customers neurons started to fire finally and said "yeah, you know I guess I should hear what they do" At this time the sales guys face was cherry red pissed off because he knew I just fooked up his sale. His reply was "I am sorry, If I demo them then they are used and will not sound the same" I literally let out a laugh and left. No idea if the customer bought them or not. God **** golden ear fegs irritate the shit out of me. That is the reason for my sig and why just looking at some brands of audio piss me off now *LOL*

Hell I think I get more laughs going through 6moons website than I do watching comedy central. Is that a bad thing?
