High pitched noise?

I have a high pitched "whine" coming from my sub and its not the sub. It gets louder as it is on and isnt heard when i first turn it on. Any ideas why this could be happening. Again when i first turn on the music u cant hear it but as i go it gets louder and louder. Could it be not good enough grounds? Would my remote line touching my rcas matter? any help is great thanks

Could be crappy grounds or RCA's picking up noise.

You meen your remote wire touched the RCA's or are touching them. Either way that's bad.

my remote line runs along the same place as my rcas should that be changed and i am rediong the grounding today

No. You made it sound like the wire touched. A lot of alt issues I've seen are from a bad pre out on the HU, or a bad ground location.

It's alt whine.... now that you've messed with your grounds, check your RCA's, hell get another cheap set of RCAs and just run them over yourseats into the trunk from the headunit, make sure they're away from the power wire and see if that gets rid of it.

If that doesn't work see if one of your friends will let you install their HU in your car real quick.
