Dayton HPSA 500, 300-806 question

Hey. I'm confused about the Dayton HPSA 500, 300-806, on partsexpress. The website says 540wrms @4ohms, and the PDF manual says 540w's max. But $298(on sale for $240, list price $499) seems a bit high for only 540 watts max. Anyone else have any expirence with these amplifiers, or it's big brother?
