High pass question

hey, so i got a nice headunit

and a 15" DD9515

the box is tuned to 40hertz

right now my sub and speakers are on 125KZ or hertz or whatever it is! from my headunit,

should i have it on a different setting?

theirs 50/80/125

personal preference, drop em both down to 80 to see if that livens up midbass to the speakers that actually should be getting midbass instead of the sub. theres alot of screwing around with hpf/lpf, but also play around with your amp to see what sounds the best in your install

That depends on your front speakers and how much bass they can make without damage.

With as loud as your sub is ported tuned at 40, I doubt you'll find your comps will blend any better, no matter how low your crossover is. You'll just compromise power handling most likely, you can always try though
