I am about to purchase an 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee from a friend thats in awesome shape and i was looking for alternators for it and only came up with the mean-green //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. What would be the average cost to have Mechman etc. make an alt for this vehicle? Also i plan to be running around 2000 total rms daily could i get by with maybe an hc2000, big 3, on a factory 135amp alt?

which ain't half bad. What sort of system are you planning? Cause there's no use in spending $250+ for something that you won't use. I'd spend less than that on big 3 upgrade and better battery.

I have an 05 jeep with stock alt, 2 big batts in the back on 2kw+ and my voltage never drops below 13.2 - 13.3v.
