That is very similar to the box I am building. Mine is going to be right at 2.0 ft^3 tuned to 32hz. What is that one tuned to?

Alright, single sa-8 box. I can't say how many of these I've done in the past 2 years.

think I have seen that box before..awesome guy here,detailed layout with cut list,can not be any easier to layout and build..pics above are of this design and my center console,forward firing..

I cant wait to build that box. I have a question though. Since it is going to be so big i will have to build it in my car, I can't screw the sides down into the base. Can I use L brackets to secure the sides to the base?

since you're building inside, without screws...be sure to use plenty of glue. Maybe put the L-bracket on the side piece first. Then when you go to screw it to the bottom panel it will kind of pull it down and put some force on it (if that makes any sense lol)

If you can clamp it and let it dry, you won't need any screws.

@bhsdriller yeah that does make sense. And @Buck I don't think I will really even have enough room to clamp it.

look into getting a pocket hole jig, can be found at home depot or lowes. When i built my last wall inside my truck it came in very handy. It will help you screw the sides to the bottom from the inside easily.
