Who builds good afordable high output alternators? I already tried Iraggi and he made my first one wrong and when he re-did it and I got it back it didn't even work.

im not really sure what affordable is to you, but Mean-Green makes awesome alternators. thats who i bought my HO from. ran me just under $400.

Mean Green, OhioGen, Mechman. those are the only ones I would trust. Nothing but good things from those ones.

i should add my alternator was for a 318 V8, so im sure itll run a bit less if you drive a smaller car or something. that price also included shipping and the alternator does have some weight to it.

eh, youre still looking at a bit over $300 then. idk waht your budget is though.

**edit, just looked through there catalog and it doesnt look like they have one for the pathfinder. id give them a call in the morning and see what they say. maybe they can make one to your specs.

stinger makes altenators too, i have an ohio gen that works great right now.

I have an HO Alt from american power...custom built for my grand prix....220amp....325 shipped. Works great.

don't forget knukonceptz, i've never checked the price on thier HO alts but if it's like any of the other stuff they sell it should be low priced.

We have a large case conversion for $449. We are the only company that offers this because it requires custom machining of the case to bolt into your stock brackets.

Be very carefull of a "over-wound" stock nissan case. They might be able to squeeze 150 amps out of it, but it will actually have LESS output at idle speeds.
