Hey i can change this
Well i have a 1995 eagle talon tsi 2.0l turbo awd and the stock alt is only 75 crappy amps. My car has alot of power so i dont think i have much room to go as far as powering my sub. I own a 12" type r and an Alpine MRP-M650 along with an alpine 340 or 360 watt speaker amp. I just figure that if i am going to buy a bigger alt i might as well get a big enough one to do AT LEAST one more type r. Any ideas?

Look into if having the current alternator rewound is an available option to you.

If it is that would be a considerably cheaper option than going with a whole new HO alternator altogether.

If it isn't, though, going HO might be your only alternative //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

my car is at about 300hp so it must draw a bit of power. ALL my main ground wires are 4 gauge and my main power wire is also. Umm i dont think i can run my car, my speaker amp and my sub amp at the same time:naughty:

What does HP have to do w/ how many amps or volts your car needs? I can go from 180HP to 280 HP w/ the flip of a switch and my volt meter never moves.
