high output alt help

on my brothers car we are lookign into doing the big three(03 neon)...The wire from the alt goes to the starter then the batt...is that going to be a prob?

just add in a wire going straight from the alt to the batt, i dont think it will be a problem

no that iw what it is suppose to do. you leave that wire on and add onto it a thicker wire that goes from the alt to battery +
