High end Kewood or Pioneer?

Ok I think I have narrowed my choice of HU to these 2 contenders

either the Kenwood KDC-MP919 CD/MP3 Receiver (374.00 on etronics)

or the Pioneer DEH-P840MP Premier CD/WMA/MP3 Player (339.00 on etrontics)

Does anyone out there own one of these and would like to comment on it, im looking for a good MP3 function because I will be using it 99% of the time

Yea id say go with the Pioneer, there really good HU's, I like the Kenwood for the D-Mask tho, but i would go with the Pioneer .

Yeah I was leaning tword the pioneer but I have heard that its MP3 function is not the best. can anyone vouch for or against this?

what about the kenwood MP3?

Having the HU higher in the dash shouldn't be too much of a problem, and if it is, get a couple of phone books to sit on. My Friend has a Pioneer mp3 and it workd really well and he hasnt had any probs with it so im gunna say stay with the poineer.

Premier definitely.........way better than any Kenwood deck.
