high beam ****ers

my homie has the brightest f'n lights i have ever seen. hi/lo 10k hids in his truck.. and his lows/fogs are relayed to come on with his Brites.. he gets brite lited when on low beam, and flicks to his brites so the passing car gets BRITES/LOW HIDS and some ridiculously brite aftermarket FOGZ.. he calls it giving them a "Sun-tan" more than a few cars just stop or pullover to avoid being blinded

I have 4300k's in my headlights, and regular halogens as my highs in my truck. I've been getting brighted recently. I do the same where I just turn my lights off if someone flashes their brights a few times. When they flick them on and leave them on, I also have 4 hella 500FF's on a light bar up front I can give them.

I've seen people dive off the road and honk at me after I do that. Unfortunately for them I have a firetruck horn that I blow back at them.

When people roll up on me at night from behind w/ brights on I have a set of 35w back up lights on a DPDT swich that I throw on if they don't turn theirs off.

Pics?

I hate people with HID's. I'm often blinded by them, both coming at me,a nd from behind me via my mirrors. There is NO reason for headlights that brite. Thats WHY we have hi-beams. For the extended distances when there aren't cars coming at you.

an hid with a good halo is a great headlight....

the problem is all the diy that don't know how to aim them correctly

Have you ever driven a car with true HIDs? After one drive at night, it's impossible to go back to regular halogens.

Properly aimed and installed (if aftermarket) HIDs shouldn't be blinding at all, it's idiots that shove 55W HID bulbs into a reflector housing which scatters light everywhere, that you hate.

I ride a combo of fog and driving currently. I do intend to get some low profile floods across the hililft jack mount on my hood, and some fender well lights some day, but they are low on the priority, because wheeling at night is stupid crazy. It should only be done in an emergency situation. I'm respectful when I wheel. Its not ca.com out there. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
questioning it because i have had to go do some recovery at night before and only had my hand held 100k lumen torch. just curious what might work better for a roof mounted option.

you have pics of the different setups at night?
