Which one does the power that you need it to do and costs what you are willing to spend?.

The component that fits your needs is always the better choice.

alpine i had them both alpine much much better

My Hifonics had no problem running at 1ohm. It produced at least near rated power. The new line is supposed to be stronger. They are both rated at 14.4v so the Hifonics will produce more power.

I have no XP with alpine amps, so I can not comment on the build quality.
