yup, you want a dual 2 so you can wire it parallel for a 1 ohm load. new they go for $260-280 i believe so i would say they could be had for $200.

it depends on install. what type of enclosure you use, but genrally speaking giving same power an sx will probably edge out an xxx spl wise, as an xxx is an sq sub sub that happens to get extremly loud. don't even compare an l7 to an xxx. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

This setup will go into a 16x16x26 or 17x15x26 inch box. ported/slotted/vented or whatever to get it as loud as possible in the trunk of a neon.

In my personal experiences hearing and seeing in the lanes RE is a sq driver except for the mt line. My hifonics brutus bx1500d is pushing out 1550 watts rms at 1ohm load at 14.4 volts, benched. In my opinion you cant beat the power from the gods dollar per watt, pound for pound. You may want to look for a different sub if your looking for spl.

i dont know what to look for in terms of a sub, but in terms of an amp all i really want is a hifonics bx1500d used for like 200usd shipped to canada. cuz thats the price i see em go for.

the sx is an spl sub. it will get pretty loud. those dimensions you gave seem like they might be a little small for a 15" sx. i would say a 15" sx needs atleast 4-5 cubes tuned to 35-40 hz. for a daily spl sub.

The power acoustic mofos mentioned before are great subs, but their are so many out there, just pick one.

if 3 cubes too small for a sx 15, will a SX 12 get loud as a kicker s 15 l7 or not?
