hifonics is alot better than all their other brands i think. I have had all the other crunch and crap amplifiers, all i have to say is FLEA MARKET. if your amp has flames on it means its prob a piece. i was lucky if my 1000w crunch put out 500w. that thing got so hot sometimes. I just bought a kicker 1200.1 because it stays alot cooler and i know exactly how much power it puts out.
if your on a budget get the hifonics bx series it will preform just fine. if you are into competitions stay away from the hifonics

as long as the amp stays reliable to me im cool with it.
i wont be cranking up the gain like a madman and sending an ultra clipped signal nowhere with it lol.

well the hifonics is better then the crunch. you'll probably get 1350-1400 watts rms out of that amp. are you looking for spl? a re sx would pair up nicely with amp. they are dual 2 ohm i due believe.

the hifonics will only give you about 1400 watts rms. since you are geared toward spl, the sx would be the better choice, and it falls pretty close to your budget.
