Many people claimed that the Bxi 2006 models did not do rated power, but i believe anything newer than that does rated power. My bxi2607 (07 model) definately did rated power.

yes they do rated....but they rate their amps at 14.4volts not 12

my bxi 2008 does rated. They will make rated only on a nice electrical system, though, so if you idke at 13.8 and drop to 12s dont expect the full amount.

well...mathmatically speaking 12 volts is 83% of 14.4 volts so if amp does 1200 watts at 14.4 then IN THEORY it can make 996 watts. But in reality music has peaks and valleys and you never really get all the watts out of music so average may be around 750ish (wild guess)

Only way to know is to clamp it

well 996 is close to the 1000 for my Q...

and for my txi440 is 110w x 4 chan which would mean i get 83% of that which is 91watts mathmatically.

oh but either way you will probably be fine. i'm running the 2008d hifonics on stock alternator and do not have that much dimming or voltage drops.
