Hifonics XXV-COLOSSUS can I run this for highs/mids?

That amp does not allow you to defeat the LP filter as far as I can tell.

You could run 600w a channel full range depending on the speakers, it

could be full range class D depending on the amp, but not that one. I

don't know of a full range class D with that kind of power.

 
This amp is a dual mono block design and is not a full range amplifier.

It is 2 x 1600 watts at 1-Ohm or 3200 watts at 2-Ohms bridged.

It is designed for running subs.

All of the Zapco c2k amps are full range class d. One of them does 2200 watts/ channel.

Pull it and test it at the battery post. Simple Power up test to verify if it powers up fine out of protect mode. if it does then Id be checking...

Yes, they are painted. The cover is very easy to take off and repaint to whatever color of choice to match the install.
