I would go with kicker ove rthe hifonics brand, hifonics a lil over rated, kicker seems solid. Think about quality first.

the gen XX hifonics are some of the best amps out, built solid as a rock, and will put out tons of clean power.

but kicker is a really well built brand also

Hifonics XX gen amps are not overrated they are underrated i would go with the Hercules over that kicker any day of the week... not saying that the kicker is a bad amp but the hercules is more powerful than the kx1200.1

The brutus and titan line are known for beign very overrated and some people here say that they have reliavility issues but the XX line is nothing like that they're great amps underrated and very reliable.

I have experience (currently own) with the kicker, XX, and brutus line. Never had/have problems with either 3. Between the XX-herc and the kicker, get whatever you can get the best price on. The couple of hundred watts, if that much, wont be noticed at that power level. Regarding the Brutus line, I choose to run my bx2200d (rated @2200rms 1-ohm) over one channel of my Colossus (1600rms @ 1-ohm).

Hey SubbinNCali I am bout to get a 15" XXX lookin for some power for it. I saw you owned the bx2200d and the 2000watt hercules. I know the bx2200d is overrated but how overrated do you think it is? You think it pushes more than 1900 watts looking for something around that for my XXX. Hifonics look pretty clean and are inexpensive so let me know what problems people have.
